The autotune function and preset recall are both fully operational. While it's not quite a museum piece, it's in great shape and would feel right at home in any studio. ## Intake

- Inspected unit - corrosion on jacks and metal chassis; boards largely intact

## Power Supply

- Replaced all electrolytic capacitors

- Replaced all trimmer potentiometers

- Replaced fan with modern Rosen Sound solution

- Adjusted voltage rails to within 1 mV of spec

## Digital Board

- Replaced battery

- Replaced all inter-board connectors

- Removed socketed ICs, tested all CMOS chips, cleaned sockets, replaced corroded sockets

- Built and installed new 40-pin ribbon cable (MIDI to digital board)

- Verified voltage rails, clocking, digital signals, CPU operation

## Display

- Replaced with modern Encore Electronics unit (original missing filaments, misreading)

## Common Analog Board

- Replaced all trimmer pots, electrolytic capacitors, horizontal headers, DIP ribbon sockets

- Removed socketed ICs, cleaned sockets, replaced those not salvageable

- Built and installed new ribbon cables to all boards

- Replaced multiple failed op-amps

- Replaced components causing monophonic scaling adjustment failures

## DEMUX Board

- Replaced all horizontal headers, ribbon socket connectors, trimmer pots, electrolytic capacitors

- Built and installed new ribbon cables to all boards

- Replaced DAC IC

- Replaced failed buffer ICs

## Panel Boards

- Replaced electrolytic capacitors (corroded leads), headers, ribbon sockets

- Built and installed new ribbon cables

- Removed all buttons, cleaned metal contact switches

- Cleaned all potentiometers

## Contour / Glide Board

- Replaced all electrolytic capacitors, trimmer pots, headers, sockets

- Built and installed new ribbon cables

- Replaced components causing adjustment failures

## Voice Boards (6)

- Replaced all electrolytic capacitors, trimmers, IC sockets, ribbon sockets

- Cleaned and reinstalled

- Replaced failing CMOS ICs (oscillator assignment noise)

- Replaced multiple failed CEM3340 VCOs, CEM3360 VCAs, CA3080 OTAs

- Replaced failed monolithic transistor pairs (VCF)

## Modulation Oscillator

- Replaced failed CEM3340

- Replaced CMOS switching IC

## Keybed

- Removed, cleaned all contacts and rubber contact pads, reassembled

- Confirmed all notes triggering

## Jacks / Output

- Replaced all footswitch jacks (rusted)

- Reflowed solder on output board
