The SR640 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2000. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line.
All original. Very minor hairline scratches that are barely visible. Frets have practically no wear, only used in the studio. Truss rod works perfectly. Bass currently has Ernie Ball 45-105 gauge strings.
The SR640 features a double-cutaway basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dots position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a Die-cast 4 fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and a pair of IBZ DX-P/J pickups channeled through a Vari-mid 3-band EQ, a plastic nut, cosmo black hardware and Die-cast tuning machines.

Bass requires one 9V battery to run active electronics. Battery not included.
The SR640 was discontinued after 2002.
