2023 Gibson Slash Collection Les Paul Standard – Appetite Burst

The Gibson Slash Collection Les Paul Standard combines timeless Les Paul construction with the features and hard-rocking character associated with Slash. Its striking Appetite Burst nitrocellulose finish highlights a beautifully figured AAA maple top, creating a look inspired by one of the most recognizable guitars in rock history.

The non-weight-relieved mahogany body and set mahogany neck deliver the warmth, resonance and sustain expected from a traditional Les Paul. A rounded ’50s Vintage neck profile provides a substantial, comfortable feel, while the bound rosewood fingerboard, 12-inch radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets support smooth chords, expressive bends and powerful lead playing.

A pair of Gibson Custom Burstbucker Alnico II humbuckers supplies rich mids, singing sustain and classic PAF-inspired tone. The pickups remain articulate when clean and produce the muscular crunch and lead voice that make this model especially well suited to classic rock, blues and hard rock. Traditional hand-wired controls with Orange Drop capacitors provide independent volume and tone adjustment for each pickup.
