This is a Marshall 1974X "Final Curtain" Limited Edition, an 18-watt handwired combo built as a Sweetwater-exclusive variant of Marshall's 1974X — itself a faithful recreation of the brand's earliest 18-watt Class A circuits, prized for their chime, low-volume breakup, and touch sensitivity. The "Final Curtain" edition is distinguished by its grille cloth: hand-stitched from red velvet salvaged from the theater curtain that hung in the music hall at Marshall's original UK factory as that space was converted into a recording studio, making each grille a piece of Marshall's own factory history rather than a standard cosmetic option. Under the hood it runs the same handwired 18-watt circuit as the standard 1974X, with a pair of EL84 power tubes, a tube rectifier, and Marshall's onboard valve-driven tremolo on Channel 1.

This example is in excellent condition overall, with the black tolex and red velvet grille cloth both presenting cleanly and no notable structural issues. It shows only light handling wear consistent with careful use and storage; electronics are original and unmodified.
