Marshall JCM900 head modded by Jens Kruse of Kruse Kontrol Amplification. This amp has the amazing Hot Rod Mod- which improves the tone dramatically across both channels for the true Plexi type clean/ break up tones on Ch1 and fat sounding hot rodded high gain tones on Ch2.
Great cosmetic condition. Unlike most JCM900 amps, which shipped with 5881 power tubes, this early 4500 came stock with EL34s, resulting in more authentic Marshall tone.
Great for anything from classic rock to all-out metal, the 4500 will please anyone looking for the Marshall sound with channel-switching versatility.
Loaded with NOS SED / Winged "C" EL34 Power Vacuum Tubes. The SED / Winged "C" EL34 is revered for its powerful authority and tight low end response. 'They don't make 'em like this anymore' and they sell for $300+ a pair now from tube retailers.
This amp has been tested and sounds great. Includes footswitch.
