The Panasonic SV-3700 is a professional Digital Audio Tape (DAT) recorder and player introduced in the early 1990s for studio recording, radio broadcasting, and CD mastering.

It features 16-bit linear PCM audio, professional balanced XLR and coaxial digital connections, and 44.1 kHz / 48 kHz sampling rates using 1-bit Delta-Sigma A/D and high-precision D/A architecture.

The unit is in good cosmetic condition (8/10) with some scratches on the top cover and one on the left side of the front panel, as seen in the photos. VFD display is bright and clear.

Functional condition is very good (9/10). It is a very low hours unit, as indicated by the mechanical hour meter on the back. All functions work, it records, plays back, and sounds amazing!

The only known issue is a brief faint squeak upon mechanism startup which does not affect operation.
