Player condition: structurally excellent all shells are perfectly round and have excellent bearing edges, some of the drums have several superficial scratches, bass drum has 2 non-superficial large scratches.

I’ve been gigging/recording with these for about 20 years and they sound AMAZING!! Thick Japanese birch shells offer a deep yet cutting resonant tone with great projection. I’ve used them for jazz, country, rock, church gigs, quite gigs, loud gigs. They shine in every situation I’ve encountered.

The set comes with an additional modified 13x9 rack tom. Originally a concert tom, I had the edges professionally cut to 45 degrees. I thought about having this mod done to the whole kit, and used this to test the results. The mod did not change the sound that much so I did not move forward with idea. I used the modded 13x9 for gigs because it is easier to mount with RIMMS mounts (not included).

Hardware

All drums have hoops, lug casings and tension rods.

The original rack tom clamps are on the 14x13 floor tom (hold the legs). Mounting for the 3 rack toms is not included. 

All other hardware pictured is not included. 

I’m a full believer in full disclosure when I sell stuff and want to emphasize that this is a player’s kit. Not all original, not all in pristine cosmetic condition: some are very good +, some are good, and the bass drum is in fair/poor cosmetic condition. But they all sound great when tuned and mounted well. Most of the heads are Remo Ambassadors and have plenty of life left. Shipping would be very expensive. Strongly encourage local pick-up. But if you really have your heart set on this, let’s discuss. I have new heavy duty boxes with molded foam pads specific for shipping drums.
