The 000-15M features an all-Mahogany construction and a subdued, vintage-inspired appearance.

The Martin Style 15 has been part of the company's lineup since the 1930s. Originally, the series was produced only in smaller body sizes, while models larger than the 00 size began to appear in the 1990s.

This is a 2021 C.F. Martin 000-15M, offered here in used condition.

The entire body is made from solid Mahogany, giving the guitar a warm, natural, and understated appearance reminiscent of vintage instruments. Mahogany also gives the instrument a distinctive tonal character, emphasizing simplicity, warmth, and sweetness rather than an overly bright or complex response.

All-Mahogany Martins were once often chosen as secondary guitars, but they have increasingly become instruments that players use as their main guitars. The 000 body size provides an excellent balance between comfort and acoustic presence, making this model versatile for both strumming and fingerstyle playing.
One of the notable features of this series is its 645.16mm scale length. While a standard Martin 000 typically uses a 632mm scale, the 000-15M uses the same scale length as an OM. Combined with the non-scalloped bracing, this provides a comfortable amount of string tension and a particularly satisfying response for strumming.
The guitar has some impact marks around the body edges, along with various signs of use throughout the instrument. However, the neck is in good condition and the guitar remains comfortable and enjoyable to play.
The all-Mahogany construction gives the guitar a strong vintage character and distinctive visual presence. It is highly recommended for players looking for a Martin with an individual character that stands apart from the more common Spruce-top models.
