And here we have a beautiful pink champagne sparkle 1960s Ludwig pioneer snare drum.
5 x 14.
Keystone badge serial numbers 414130. 1966 or possibly early 1967 production based on the serial numbers.

One of the most coveted sought after vintage Ludwig finishes that you will find.
The drum is in excellent original condition no damage no missing or broken parts no added holes in the shell. Original pink champagne sparkle wrap is in superb condition rich even color no differentiation in color, no faded areas. Tight seam no lifting no bubbling no cracking. Extremely nice gloss finish with brilliant sparkle.
Original lugs original hoops original p83 throw off and original butt plate. Original internal white padded rectangular muffler with external baseball bat muffler control arm. All components in excellent working order. Some light surface wear on the hoops from age and routine use. Original factory white shell interior that is super clean. Interior bearing edges and reinforcement rings are all in excellent condition. I do not see a date stamp that could have rubbed off by this point in time I do see two initials LM which most likely are the initials of the Ludwig factory inspector who checked off on this drum before it was sent on for sale.
New Remo coated ambassador batter head and new Remo clear ambassador resonant head. Original Ludwig script logo wires the drum also appears to have its original strings that tie the wires to the drum.
In regarding the performance in tone absolutely no disappointments in this department. The drum delivers that crisp woody resonant sound that you would expect from a high quality vintage Ludwig drum from this era.
