Vintage Liberty Chimes Wood Xylophone
2 Octave G-to-G Chromatic
Single Row
Approximating 1920s based on available information, but anywhere in the 1910s-early 1940s is possible.
42" long
Bars are in good shape. Some dirt, dust, and scratches, but no cracks or serious wear discovered. There are a few dead keys, where the bolts and felts seem to fasten the bars a little to tight. These could likely be freed up with some minor servicing.
Frame is in good condition. There are blemishes, scuffs, and missing nails. Upper end connecting board is little loose and needs to be refastened. Some lifting and chips at bottom surface board at upper range. Fame feels solid and structurally sound overall.
Keyboard stand not included.
