Offered for sale is this limited edition SJ-200 True Vintage. This guitar was modeled after and is a tribute to the post-war return of the SJ-200 to production in 1947 and with the introduction of maple back and sides as opposed to the rosewood construction of the pre-war models. The top is constructed with wide grained, torrified Adirondack (red) Spruce. The back and sides are made of solid, lightly figured maple with a 3 piece flamed maple neck. The fretboard and mustache bridge are made of rosewood with mother of pearl inlays. There are no cracks, breaks, dings, through the finish scratches, or repairs. There is some light pick scratching and polishing swirling that is detectable upon close inspection. The original hard shell case is included and is in excellent condition. This guitar has a boomy lower end with nicely balanced mid and upper end with individual note clarity that maple is revered for.
