TASCAM Porta Two Ministudio High Speed

Excellent example of the less common High Speed version of the TASCAM Porta Two, fully serviced and working as it should.

Truly puts the "porta" in portastudio as it can run on batteries making it a genuinely portable 4-track recording setup.

It is incredible physical condition with next to no noticeable blemishes/imperfections.

These High Speed versions are considerably less common than the standard Porta Two and are becoming increasingly difficult to find in properly serviced condition.

The Porta Two is a classic 4-track cassette recorder/mixer from TASCAM’s golden era of Portastudios. The High Speed model runs at 3¾ ips — twice the speed of a standard cassette deck — giving it improved frequency response, better fidelity and a lower noise floor while still retaining the unmistakable character of recording to cassette.

A great machine for anyone looking to record through real analog circuitry and tape, bounce tracks, process drums or synths, or simply add genuine cassette saturation and character to a modern recording setup.

Comes with a 12V power adapter with a reverse polarity converter cable.
