Restored Pioneer SA-5200 integrated amplifier (3)
33 capacitors replaced. Power supply capacitor 4,700uf 50 volts upgraded to 6,800uf 50 volts. Qty. (15) signal transistors replaced (6) 2SC1344 (5) 2SC1318 (1) 2SCA763 (3)2SA725 replaced. Often times the original transistors can become noisy with time and these known transistors were replaced as a preventative measure. 1 Power indicator lamp was replaced with L.E.D. 1 power switch replaced (original switch was stuck in the on position). Entire unit cleaned inside and out including knobs and face plate. All switches and potentiometers cleaned and lubricated. Bias adjusted. Tested over 40 hours with no issues.
