An excellent vintage Les Paul Custom!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. The back of the neck is clean.
Neck: Slim mahogany neck with nicely aged white binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original frets and they are in great shape with hardly any wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl split diamond inlays. Kluson Waffleback tuners & Les Paul Custom truss rod cover. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid mahogany body with maple cap. 7-ply top binding & 5-ply back binding. Original Stopbar tailpiece with Original ABR-1 bridge & gold hardware. Original 3-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 6.8 oz.
Electronics: Original Dual Gibson T-Tops with covers. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs. Newer 1978 CTS pots & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
Disclaimer: The serial # Begins with 1 meaning that it was reused multiple times in the 70's and this could very well be a 1973. It's very difficult to know for sure with the pots not being original.
