A circa 1970 Gibson ES-175D in collector-grade condition and in perfect working order, complete with hardshell case. A stunningly well-kept guitar with an equally pristine case, the presentation of this vintage ES-175 is head and shoulders above majority from the era.
Acoustically, the fully hollow maple body delivers a big, open sound with both the immediate attack and clarity of maple, and an airy, smooth quality befitting the hollowbody construction. This ES-175D weighs 6lbs 15oz.
Sunburst nitro lacquer finish is 100% original with very restrained vertical checking, with cosmetic wear limited to shallow buckle scuffing to the back and a few faint marks on the top and body perimeter. The nitro gloss on the neck profile is clean and smooth.
