Here we have a pre owned Gibson Les Paul Special Pro electric guitar. Made in the USA in 2015. Honey Burst gloss finish. This guitar has had some nice upgrades. The Les Paul Special Pro is a solid body set neck guitar made with a Mahogany body and neck. 22- fret bound Rosewood fingerboard. 24.75" scale, 60's Slim Taper neck shape, 12" radius, and a 1 11/16th nut width. This guitar now sports a set of Missing Link Audio- Mason Dixon Peacock humbucking pickups with nickel covers. Handmade boutique PAF style pickups going after that famous Duane Allman tone. Bridge is 16k and the neck is 9.5k. This guitar also sports a full RS Guitarworks harness with caps. Top notch electronics all around. Grover Rotomatic tuners up top to keep things in check. This guitar weighs 8lbs 3oz. It comes with an SKB molded plastic hard shell case, and the boxes from the pickups. The original pickups and harness are not included. * note that the guitar has chrome hardware but the pickup covers are nickel *
This guitar has just been pro setup by our technician and is playing like a good Gibson should. Strung with 10-46's. The neck is straight and the truss rod is working perfectly with good travel in both directions. The frets are in excellent condition with very minimal signs of wear. This guitar plays cleanly up and down the fingerboard with no issues.
Cosmetically, this guitar is in excellent condition. There are some pick scuffs in the finish on the treble side of the pickups. Light scuffs around the controls from general playing. There is one one very small mark on the top side edge of the guitar, just above the toggle switch. Very minor. Truly very clean shape!
All in all, this Les Paul Special Pro plays and sounds great. Upgraded electronics all around and a fresh setup. Add this one to your arsenal today. Thanks for looking and happy buying!
