Part of the Gibson Custom Limited Edition Collection, this model pairs historically inspired construction with Murphy Lab Ultra Heavy Aging for the rounded edges, extensive finish checking, and heavy playing wear of a well-loved vintage instrument.

The lightweight one-piece solid mahogany body is topped with two-piece plain maple, while the mahogany neck features a substantial 1950s Chunky D profile and long neck tenon. A rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, Historic narrow/tall frets, 12" radius, nylon nut, and 24.75" scale length round out the period-inspired feel. Aged nickel hardware, cream plastics, Kluson Deluxe tuners, and gold Top Hat knobs complete the vintage presentation.

A pair of unpotted, underwound Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups delivers the clarity, warmth, and sweetness associated with late-'50s Patent Applied For humbuckers, with plenty of drive and crunch when pushed. Traditional two-volume, two-tone controls and a three-way toggle keep the layout familiar and versatile.
