Soldano SP-77 Series II, the Japanese-market grey panel version. This is the SLO preamp voicing in a rack box, and it's the cheapest way into real Soldano tone without buying a head.
Two independent channels, four 12AX7s. Clean channel has a bright switch and gets genuinely Fender-ish and chimey. Overdrive channel is the SLO character: tight, saturated, plenty of gain on tap well before you run out of knob. Each channel has its own Gain, Bass, Mid, Treble, and Volume, so you can set them independently and not fight one shared EQ.
Runs straight into a power amp or into your amp's effects return to bypass its preamp section.
Please note: Channel switching is via the rear panel footswitch jack only. There's no front panel channel switch. The footswitch is NOT included, but any standard latching TS footswitch works.
What's included: Preamp unit only. No footswitch, box, or manual.
