JBL L100 Speakers 1st generation (1 pair)

Yes, they are absolutely gorgeous but sound better than they look. I'm selling my exquisite pair of original 1st generation JBL Century speakers that I've had recently restored. These iconic speakers are much more than something else to listen to. They are mid century modern furniture and vintage electronics at its finest. I love just looking at them as much as listening to them. Unbelievably beautiful. When I listen to these speakers I hear instruments I don't hear with other speakers. They will bring out the finest in any receiver or amplifier, but if you have a Marantz receiver consider them husband and wife joined in heavenly fidelity.

All tweeters, mid ranges and woofers have been removed and tested by an acoustic technician and have good dcr's. In addition, the woofers have passed a 30 hertz voice coil check to make sure they are not rubbing. The crossovers have been throughly tested and are within specs. The speaker terminals have been upgraded to accept larger wire size. The beautiful walnut cabinets have been refinished and almost flawless. but do have minor imperfections. Please look at all photos before buying. Included are the custom made solid steel speaker stands, the new orange grill covers, and a roll of 100 foot 14 gage speaker wire.

Yes there are less expensive JBL speakers you can buy, but ask yourself, have they been upgraded? Are all the tweeters, mid ranges and woofers working like JBL intended them to? Are the cabinets and grills in pristine condition? Do they come with speaker stands, and wire??

When your friends and neighbors see and listen to these, they will say, "Wow!". Take all the time you want but my speakers sell fast, so why wait??
