The rarest of the rare!

Fully functional pair of Altec Melodist 700A speakers for sale in remarkably good condition.

All four drivers (2x 3000A tweeters + 2x Altec/Western Electric 756B) confirmed to be original and fully functional.

Functioning 3000A tweeters are exceptionally rare, making this working pair an incredible find.

With the exception of cracking veneer on the face of one speaker (the result of sun exposure in a very dry climate), the cabinets are in very good condition overall, certainly much better than most that have been sold in recent years.

Local pickup only in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Willing to meet within a four hour radius of Santa Fe (Pueblo CO, Flagstaff AZ, Amarillo TX, El Paso, TX etc.).

If you would like these speakers shipped, you will need to make arrangements for a courier to pick them up, confirm and acknowledge that the speakers are fully functional via demonstration, and deliver them blanket wrapped to the packing/shipping service of your choice (UPS Store, FedEx Kinko's, Pakmail, etc.).
