Kelii Concert Ukulele Early 2000’s

Super awesome condition- never really used. 15.5625” scale length.

I bought this in Hawaii in the early 2000’s, for my wife, who didn’t go on the trip. She also wasn’t going for the stash of guitars I was accumulating back then. I said it was a gift, that she’d enjoy it, that it was actually made IN the Aloha state, that it shows that I was thinking of her during the trip…

She said, “It’s basically a guitar. You bought YOURSELF another guitar, albeit a midget of a guitar. And oh, by the way, I saw the fucking Pro Reverb you hid in the closet.”

Suffice it to say, she doesn’t want it and I’ve been afraid to drag it out from under the bed until now (she’s watching her Brazilian novellas on TV with a nice Portuguese red blend in an extra large wine goblet).

I admitted to the guy way back then that I knew nothing about ukes, but that I trusted him to pick out a good one that a Hawaiian musician would actually be happy to have.

So here you have it. It’s not ‘figured’ Mahogany, but it’s really nice grained Mahogany - the neck too. She sounds true and pretty, but I’m not a uke connoisseur by any means.
