Vintage Snare Drum Stand – Adjustable Tripod – Project / Parts – Poor Condition

For sale is a vintage snare drum stand with an older all-metal tripod design and adjustable snare basket. No manufacturer or model markings are visible in the photos, so the exact maker and age are unknown.

This stand is being listed in Poor condition due to functional locking issues, missing parts, and substantial cosmetic wear. It may be best suited for repair, restoration, parts, or vintage drum hardware use.

Functional Condition

The stand has locking/adjustment problems. Some of the locking mechanisms do not hold or operate properly, so we cannot guarantee that the stand will securely maintain its adjustments or reliably support a snare drum in its present condition.

The tripod base opens and the basket is present, but the stand should be considered a repair/project piece rather than fully functional, stage-ready hardware.

Missing Parts

Two of the three tripod legs are missing their rubber/plastic protective feet. Only one leg retains its black protective foot.

Because of the missing feet, the exposed metal ends of the other two legs may scratch flooring and the stand may not sit as evenly as it would with a complete matching set.

Cosmetic Condition

The stand shows heavy age- and use-related cosmetic wear throughout, consistent with older drum hardware.

Visible wear includes:

• Surface rust and oxidation throughout the legs, braces, joints, fasteners, and other metal components
• Significant finish/plating wear and discoloration
• Numerous scratches, scuffs, marks, and abrasions
• Wear and oxidation around the tripod hinges and moving joints
• Tarnishing and general aging of the hardware
• Visible wear on the snare basket arms
• Two missing protective feet on the tripod legs
• Remaining rubber foot shows age and use
• General grime/patina associated with long-term storage and use
