Squier by Fender Hello Kitty Stratocaster – Original 2005/2006 Release – Black – Near Mint Collector’s Example

A fantastic example of the highly collectible original Squier by Fender Hello Kitty Stratocaster.

This is the full-size original Hello Kitty Stratocaster, model 033-5005, from the mid-2000s Indonesian production run. The original Hello Kitty Strat has developed a serious cult following among guitar and Sanrio/Hello Kitty collectors, and clean, unmodified examples with their original accessories are becoming increasingly difficult to find.

This particular example is exceptionally well preserved. The gloss black finish is remarkably clean, with no noticeable scratches, dents or dings, and the original protective film remains on the Hello Kitty pickguard. The guitar retains its original factory configuration and is accompanied by its original Hello Kitty pink strap and original retail box.

The guitar has not been modified and is being offered in exceptionally clean collector’s condition. The original pickguard protective film is still present, which is an especially nice feature for a collector. These original Hello Kitty Stratocasters are quite different from the later Hello Kitty releases and the Hello Kitty Mini, and the original full-size Indonesian models have become sought-after collectibles. A particularly clean and complete example of one of Squier’s most recognizable and unusual collaborations.
