The Focusrite Clarett+ 2Pre is a compact desktop audio interface built around two Clarett+ mic preamps with a low-distortion, ultra-linear design tuned for clean, transparent, powerful sound. All-analogue Air mode with impedance switching recreates the character of Focusrite's legendary ISA console preamps, adding presence and clarity to vocals and instruments right from the front panel.

The 2Pre gives you 10 inputs and 4 outputs total: two combo mic/line inputs alongside switchable Hi-Z instrument inputs, four balanced 1/4" monitor outputs, and a dedicated flat-response headphone output for accurate mixing. An ADAT optical input lets you bring in 8 additional channels from an external preamp, so the 2Pre can grow into a larger recording setup without replacing the interface itself.

Independent A-D and D-A converters deliver 24-bit/192kHz resolution with up to 124dB of dynamic range, and USB-C connectivity keeps the 2Pre compatible with MacOS, Windows and iPadOS. It ships with Ableton Live Lite, Pro Tools Intro+ and the Hitmaker Expansion bundle of plugins from Antares, Softube, Landr and XLN Audio, giving you a ready-to-record setup from the first session.
