1995 Gibson Les Paul Corvette Custom Shop GuitarHere we have an extremely rare 1995 Gibson Les Paul Corvette custom shop !The two-tone C1 Corvette is one of the most iconic cars ever made. And certainly one of my personal favorites. Turns out, it always makes for an incredible guitar!This guitar was built as part of a very limited run. The original plan was to build 200 of these total (in several different colors, so far fewer were planned in this exact color "Cascade Green"). Based on how few of these have surfaced for sale over the years, it is unlikely all 200 of them were actually built.

This rare guitar is one that many know and love from the Gibson Custom Shop in 1995, #97 of 200 made & Gibson’s homage to the 1960 Corvette in Les Paul form. Features include a stunning Cascade Green w/a Cream Cove w/an Ebony fretboard inlayed with a gorgeous pearl “Corvette” logo script from 1960 corvette line. The headstock is inlayed with the Chevrolet Corvette crossed flags and these flags are also on the matching collectible case with crushed black velvet interior included here. The back cover plates and truss rod cover are engraved chrome plated brass (see pics) and the pickup covers are engraved with ”283” and ”fuel injection” in the original script. The maple top is hand carved to simulate the famous side scoop of the 1960 Corvette. Original black leather case with Corvette emblem included. The serial number on the back of the headstock (denoting 5097 which corresponds to the special edition of 200) has “VIN” printed before the numbers, which I believe is a fun nod toward the automotive representation of this guitar. Gibson guitars and Corvettes first came together on a Custom Shop model on the Les Paul ’60 Corvette, which was introduced in 1995 and featured authentic colors from 1960 Corvettes. It is truly MINT in all respects & comes in its original leather case.

Now what really makes this special and extremely rare ? It is the only one signed by "Les Paul" Himself !. Thats right ! and I have the photos and provenance to prove it . Make this the center piece of any Gibson Collection. original Black leather case and all the case candy too.
