Walrus Audio Voyager – Preamp/Overdrive (Original Version) Dynamic Preamp • Touch‑Sensitive Drive • Boutique Clarity

The Walrus Audio Voyager is a highly musical preamp/overdrive designed to enhance your tone with clarity, warmth, and dynamic response. Known for its open, touch‑sensitive feel, the Voyager works beautifully as an always‑on tone shaper, a clean boost, or a medium‑gain overdrive that stays articulate no matter how hard you push it.

This is the original Voyager, celebrated for its organic breakup and wide tonal range.

Open, Responsive Overdrive with Natural Harmonics

The Voyager’s gain structure is smooth and expressive, offering everything from subtle grit to rich, harmonically complex drive. It reacts beautifully to picking dynamics and guitar volume changes, making it ideal for players who want an overdrive that feels alive and responsive.

Versatile Preamp for Any Rig

With its three‑knob layout (Volume, Gain, Tone), the Voyager is easy to dial in and works well in any position on your pedalboard:

• As an always‑on preamp to add warmth and presence

• As a clean boost to push your amp

• As a medium‑gain overdrive for rhythm and lead work

• As a stacking tool that pairs beautifully with other drives

Its clarity and headroom make it a favorite among indie, worship, and alternative players.
