JHS All American V2 Hand Painted – 2011 – Serial #129 – Early JHS – Very Good
For sale is a JHS All American V2 Hand Painted, Serial #129, in Very Good condition.
This is an especially interesting example for the serious JHS collector, with the original internal markings documenting Serial #129, a manufacture date of 12/30/2011, and builder initials NDC.
These early hand-painted JHS pedals come from a very different period in the company’s history, before the standardized graphics and larger-scale production associated with modern JHS. Each hand-painted enclosure has its own individual character, making surviving examples particularly appealing as collectible pieces of early JHS history.
The All American V2
The All American is one of JHS’s discontinued early distortion designs. The V2 expanded the circuit with additional controls and switching, giving it considerably more flexibility than a straightforward distortion pedal.
While it’s still an extremely usable pedal, the appeal of this particular example goes well beyond the circuit. The combination of the hand-painted V2 enclosure, two-digit 2011 manufacture date, Serial #129 and original builder markings makes it an excellent candidate for an early JHS collection.
