This is a 1976 Telecaster I purchased here on reverb about a year ago. The original listing stated there was refinish mark on the neck from the 80s. It also has an extra switch added which I *believe* is a series/parallel mod. I included the neck off picture from the previous listing and a picture of the electronics. I have not had the neck off or the electronics out since owning it myself.
I don’t think the body was refinished but I don’t know for sure. Some of the electronics are replacements and I believe at least the bridge pickup is replaced because it is hot.
Various dings and scrapes all around and some patina on the metal parts. Also a filled in spot on the headstock where it looks like there was a stringtree at one time. I’ve tried to get as many pictures as possible to document all these issues.
Includes original Fender hardshell case that it will come shipped in.
So it’s not 100% original, but I think it has a good honest look to it and it plays well and sounds good.
