A lovely Martin 12 string dating to 1970!
The Martin D12 series had existed some decades prior to this example, with guitars falling into different echelons based on appointments - this 20 example, having the most simple appointments, including binding and dot inlay atop. Constructed with a standard spruce top, X bracing (with an oversized rosewood bridge plate), and warm mahogany back & sides. A nice example overall, this has seen minimal play wear - light pick scratches and minimal dings and finish checking near the waist.

Sonically this guitar is very nice - with a warm bass response. It could be a great counter part for any serious player looking to get a vintage 12 string in their arsenal that won't break the bank. The neck is pretty straight with a little bit of forward relief present, ultimately pretty non-problematically. The action that measures 8/64" in height at the twelfth fret of the sixth string, about 7/64" on the first with about 4/64" of the saddle visible above the slot. The frets are in great shape, again having only been used sparingly.
Original plate tuners are present and function just as they should.
