Made in Memphis, here we have a very cool, very comfortable ES-339 from the Gibson Custom Shop.
These smaller bodied semi-hollows are a player favorite, easy to sit with, and lighter in weight than their 335 counterparts - this one weighing in at only 6.8 lbs.
Fully bound, laminate maple body construction, finished in the iconic cherry finish - this one comes to us in great condition from the previous owner. Dating to 2011, it shows only mild wear, with only light surface scratches present. Original '57 Classic pickups present, all electronics in good working order.
The neck has a standard C profile measuring about .81" in depth at the first position tapering to about .91" at the twelfth fret. It has a typical 1 23/32" nut width. The neck is straight, the profile very clean, the frets and fingerboard showing virtually no wear. The action is easy, measuring a low 4/64" in height at the twelfth fret, with plenty of room for any adjustment at the bridge thumb screws.
