For ~100 years old, this three octave (3 C-C) xylophone is in amazing shape, and it sounds fantastic. This is the Deagan No. 844 Drummer's Special, with the step-up Nagaed Honduran Rosewood 1 1/4" x 7/8" bars. Appears to be all original, except strings, mallets, and possibly the F# bar. The F# bar is a slightly different color (see photo), but it sounds like the other bars. The low-F bar has a longitudinal scratch mostly on the surface. It does not effect the sound and is definitely not a crack. The stand, resonators, and other metal parts have some surface oxidizing, but are serviceable. The felt is deteriorated, but mostly serviceable. The original case is missing hardware, covering, and is barely holding together. I'll carefully ship the xylophone in the case, and the case inside another box, or, free pickup in Montgomery, Texas. See the YouTube video for a demonstration of the actual xylophone. Thanks!
