The Fender American Ultra Telecaster Rosewood Fingerboard in Texas Tea is a high-end, USA-made Telecaster from Fender's original American Ultra series, introduced around 2019. It takes the traditional Tele design and adds modern playability, noiseless pickups, enhanced body contours, and premium hardware.

The Ultra Noiseless Vintage Tele pickups retain the familiar Telecaster twang, snap and bite while greatly reducing the 60-cycle hum associated with traditional single-coils. The S-1 switch puts the two pickups in series, producing a noticeably thicker, louder sound that's closer to a humbucker.
The 10"–14" compound-radius rosewood fingerboard is another major upgrade. It's rounder near the nut for comfortable chords and becomes flatter toward the higher frets, making bends and lead playing easier. The rolled fingerboard edges and satin-finished Modern "D" neck also make it feel considerably more modern than a vintage-style Tele.
Texas Tea is one of the particularly attractive finishes from this generation, giving the guitar a dark, sophisticated appearance while the rosewood fingerboard and chrome hardware complement it nicely.
