AKAI MPC 500 **FOR PARTS/REPAIR** up for sale! The display contrast pot (small screwhead-like disc) has broken off and is missing. As a result, the contrast cannot be actively adjusted from its current blank screen state without repair. It can possibly be repaired with a replacement PCB board or the entire contrast assembly--I have no idea and do not know how to fix it.
Otherwise, everything else on this MPC is in excellent working condition. Upgrades include 128 MB RAM, mpcstuff fat black pads and black jog thumb wheel. Pictured power supply and original box are included. Happy to answer any questions. This is an AS-IS sale, no returns.
