The Alesis ControlPad is an 8-pad USB/MIDI percussion controller designed to be played with drum sticks. It features velocity-sensitive gum rubber pads, hardware trigger inputs for expansion, and plug-and-play connectivity for triggering software virtual instruments or external MIDI gear without internal sounds of its own.
