Super rare Baja Fender James Burton signature telecaster.
An original Telecaster master, James Burton influenced generations of rock guitar royalty with his perfectly phrased late-'50s/early-'60s Tele work with Ricky Nelson, and his later stints with Elvis Presley, Emmylou Harris, Elvis Costello and many others only furthered his revered elder-statesman status. His was the first signature Telecaster model, and this James Burton Standard Telecaster gives you Burton style with tons of versatility and a dose of Texas tone due to the custom shop Texas Special bridge pickup and Seymour Duncan humbucker ar the neck.
Definitely has been played and shows normal wear but is functioning perfectly and looks great for a 30 year old guitar.
Some scratches on the pick guard and light paint scuff just to the side of the pick guard -- barely noticeable but included close up photo so you can see it.
Rock, country, blues, licks, easy jazz tones -- this James Burton telecaster can do it all with style.
