This instrument is in Excellent-Condition considering its age. Outside of your normal wear sports (Shoulder/Armrests/back edges) this guitar has only minor nicks/hairline scratches/checking throughout  .

The neck, body, pickguard, electronics, pickup and tuners are original. However, the neck does appear to have been partially refinished and re-fretted some time ago as there is some wear and checking throughout. The water slide decal has been replaced but you can still see the outline of where the original decal was placed.

As far as the Bridge, though there are some rare examples of early 50’s esquires that were put out with no serial number stamped on the bridge. However, the underside of the bridge has had the SN scratched onto it as well as what appears to be the initials “T.G” followed by what appears to be a last name that we have not been able to discern. Because we cannot guarantee this bridge to be original, We are considering it as not original but most likely later 50’s.

Included is a vintage Fender hardshell case which is in good condition. However, we are unable to verify it as the original.
