Fender Player II Modified Active Precision Bass

The Fender Player II Modified Active Precision Bass combines the familiar feel of a Precision Bass platform with an expanded active electronics system and modern hardware. Its alder body is paired with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, while the Modern “C” profile, 9.5" radius, and Medium Jumbo frets provide a comfortable contemporary playing feel.

The active/passive electronics feature a pickup pan control and 3-band EQ with dedicated treble, midrange, and bass boost/cut controls. An active/passive mini-toggle allows quick switching between the onboard preamp and passive operation, making the instrument suitable for both straightforward traditional tones and more extensively shaped modern sounds.

A Fender HiMass bridge with chrome-plated zinc saddles, tapered-shaft open-gear tuners, and nickel/chrome hardware complete the performance-oriented specification.
