Phil Jones Bass BP9-800

This amp really delivers the cleanest tones.

The mute/active/passive switch was a weak point and eventually broke off permanently in passive mode. No problem though — the gain/input is calibrated so it doesn’t matter, and there’s no issue overdriving the input stage while it’s locked in passive.

It’s an incredibly clean and transparent amp, but it’s getting older. The pots are noisy, and I can’t have that with my current schedule

Ready for a new home in a nice, cozy, warm, dry studio where it can power an entire stack.
