The 512C is one of the classic API 500-series modules, featuring the API 2520 discrete op-amp, transformer-balanced output, 65 dB of mic gain, 48V phantom power, polarity reverse, -20 dB pad, and front-panel instrument DI.
Excellent all-around studio preamp with the characteristic API punch, presence, transient response, and headroom.
