The M-80 is one of Squier's more unusual early-2000s designs, moving away from the traditional Stratocaster and Telecaster shapes with a distinctive double-cutaway solid body and dual-humbucker configuration.
This example has a deep transparent burgundy/red finish, natural maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, two humbucking pickups, three-way pickup selector, individual volume and tone controls, and Tune-o-matic-style bridge with stopbar tailpiece.
The guitar shows normal cosmetic wear from age and use, including light scratches, marks and hardware wear visible in the photographs, but presents very nicely overall.
