Up for sale is a 1976 fender Rhodes Suitcase 88 in great playing condition. Fully serviced locally in 2017 and rarely played since then. Stored indoors, safely and securely, in a climate-controlled home.

When the piano was serviced, a bunch of internal parts were replaced and repaired - sorry I can't be more specific, I'm not a Rhodes technician - and the piano was tuned. At the same time, the amp was serviced and had a number of caps replaced to return it to full functionality. Super quiet during operation. Love that it has the Peterson preamp with vibrato and the plus-and-minus tone stack. The thing sounds fantastic!

I think it plays great, has nice action, but again, I'm not an expert. I'm a good guitarist but a hack on the piano. I just love the way it sounds and feels, but can't justify keeping it any more for the couple of basslines I record with it in a year.

Cosmetically it's in pretty good shape. Photos show the trouble areas - some damaged tolex on the back of the piano, just below where the lid meets the body and some cracks in a few of the keys. NO CRACKS, SPLITS, BREAKS OR CHIP IN THE ROUNDED PLASTIC COVER. All the rest is what I would consider normal patina for a 50-year-old instrument that's been played and loved.

Comes complete as you see it - with travel case lid, 4 pin cable and power cord.
