This Gibson Custom Made to Measure F-5G takes Gibson’s modern F-style mandolin platform and gives it a custom Orange Sparkle top finish. It is built for serious mandolin work, but with a finish that makes it impossible to mistake for a standard production piece.

The carved Sitka spruce top and figured red maple body give this F-5G the clarity, projection, and strong acoustic response expected from a professional Gibson mandolin. The Orange Sparkle top adds a bold Custom Shop look while keeping the core construction rooted in the standard F-5G formula.

The figured red maple neck features Gibson’s Wide Neck profile, an ebony fingerboard, 14" radius, mother-of-pearl dot inlays, and 20 medium frets. It is a clean, comfortable playing surface made for modern players who need precision and reliability.

Hardware includes an ebony bridge, Grover tuning machines, nickel hardware, and a nickel-plated tailpiece cover engraved with Gibson. A historic scroll headstock, mother-of-pearl Gibson logo and flowerpot inlay, and hardshell case complete the package.
