Like the Chevrolet‘s 58 Impala, Shure’s 58 Studio Microphone is one of a kind. Introduced in 1965, 61 years later it’s still the standard by which all other dynamic microphones are judged. This one is of the first generation, the OG of SM58s only made in the U.S.A. from 1965 to 1984. Although not perfect, it’s in great condition, most of the wear is around the bottom from sliding in and out of the stand mount. The microphone works and sounds very good.
