Immaculate Ensoniq EPS-16 Plus Digital Sampling Workstation with extras!

This is the LAST of three Ensoniq EPS-16 Keyboards I'm selling. I saved the best for last since this unit was previously a backup keyboard and was barely used. This beauty is as close as new that you will find available - It includes a +1MB sampling RAM expansion AND the FB-2 Flash RAM (1MB) option (see photos):

The Flash RAM option (originally sold as the Ensoniq FLASHBANK) is a non-volatile internal storage upgrade for the Ensoniq EPS-16 Plus sampler that allows you to instantly load the operating system and instruments upon power-up without using a floppy disk. Key Features and Mechanics

• Instant Booting: You can burn the EPS-16+ Operating System directly to the Flash memory. This lets the machine "boot up" in about a second, entirely bypassing the slow, traditional floppy disk drive sequence.
• Zero-RAM Playback: Instruments stored in the Flash Bank do not consume any of your precious internal system RAM blocks. They play directly from the Flash card, meaning you can load a massive patch (like a multi-sampled acoustic piano) and still have your full internal system RAM available for other samples.
• Permanent Storage: Because Flash RAM is non-volatile, everything saved to it remains intact even after you turn the sampler off.

• Firmware: Flashed with the latest FlashFloppy firmware (reads both .IMG and .HFE disk images).
• Included Storage: Loaded 32GB SanDisk low-profile USB drive containing a ~4.5 GB personal sample library collected over years, plus useful utility tools.
• Sample Libraries: Includes images for EPS (Classic/16), ASR-10, and Mirage.

Rigorous Testing & Functionality

The unit was soak-tested by being left powered on for several hours across three separate days. I successfully recorded a custom sequence using empty disk images on the USB drive. 100% functional coverage verified for:

• All tact switches, keys, and patch select buttons
• Pitch and mod wheels
• Volume and data sliders
• Sampling, sequencing, loading, and saving functions
• MIDI In/Out
• Headphone, main audio outputs, and sustain pedal inputs
• Polyphonic aftertouch

Note on Cosmetic Condition:

As previously mentioned, this unit is in amazing shape for its age, but there is one minor blemish on the right side of the panel. I'm not sure if it is leftover residue from tape or something else but I wasn't able to remove it. It is only noticeable since the rest of the keyboard looks so new.
