1965 Pre-CBS Fender Vibro Champ Blackface (AA764) in excellent condition.

The amp is in fabulous, original condition for its age. There is no significant damage to the Tolex or grill cover, and the handle is the original. It has an aftermarket cover. I believe all the electronics are just as they came from the factory, including the AC plug - it has had no electronics modification to the best of my knowledge. I have the original envelope that the operators manual and schematic came in, however the manual has long-since disappeared, but I have the schematic. The original paper panel inside the chassis showing the tubes is intact and shows a date code of "OD".

The speaker is a JBL, and not the Oxford that most of these amps came with, but I have information that says that some of the pre-CBS Vibro-Champs came from the factory with the JBL D208 that is in this amp. I bought the amp used in 1966 from an acquaintance who said it was all factory original, but I have no way of knowing other than that,

I believe it to be pre-CBS based on the "Fender Electric Instrument" wording on the front panel, the set screw on the knobs at the 10 position, and there is no Fender logo on the grill cloth.
