For sale is a set of 14" pre-serial 1960's Paiste Formula 602 hi-hat cymbals. The bottom cymbal has a crack which is visible in the photos. The set is essentially priced as if the sale is just for the top hat cymbal but includes both.
Top: 840g
Bottom: 902g
These cymbals were from my dads kit. I'm not a drummer and am not an expert in these cymbals or everything about them, so I can't speak to direct experience using them or answer too many questions (but I will do my best). His kit was a Ludwig Super Classic from 1967 (stamped "Oct 1967" inside the shells), and I believe that these cymbals were purchased new in 1967 at the same time the entire kit was purchased. Regardless, the cymbals are pre-serial number and everything I can find dates them to the mid-late 60's.
