1972 Marshall Super Lead 100W tube amplifier head in rare red covering, serial number SL/A 3523D.
The D serial suffix dates the amplifier to 1972, and the internal inspection tag is dated 30-5-72. The chassis also retains its Rockbottom, West Croydon dealer sticker.
This is an authentic, working vintage Marshall Super Lead with strong collector appeal. The red covering, period gold panels, chassis markings, serial number and internal date evidence are all documented in the photographs.
Condition: Very Good (vintage). The amp shows age-appropriate cosmetic wear, including surface marks and normal cabinet/tolex wear consistent with a 1972 amplifier. No major structural damage is apparent from the supplied photographs.
Important owner-history note: the amplifier was purchased without the rear back panel.
Serial: SL/A 3523D
Local pickup in Los Angeles is strongly preferred. Shipping within the continental U.S. is available at buyer’s expense with careful packing, full-value insurance and signature required.
