Recorder is in excellent used condition, having been fully tested by myself personally. The player is able to quickly play and track any CD that is loaded into it, while showing no incongruities in playback quality that I can note. I even tested out the recording function, and was able to copy music from my iPhone onto a CD-R. Do note that I tried recording two different CD-Rs using this unit: one that is older with a slower write speed (Imation), and one that is newer with a higher write speed (Verbatim). The one with the higher write speed was not able to initialize, and displayed the code ‘OPCFAIL’ on the display. From my research, it would seem that this is typical, being that a recorder from the 90s would not be able to properly record onto a high-speed CD-R that was recently produced. Unit will be sold AS-IS described, and will not be eligible for returns whatsoever. 

Recorder is in great shape cosmetically, showing minimal signs of age-related wear around the exterior. There are no notable points of damage inflicted along any edge or face of the units metal housing. All buttons along the face are appropriately responsive to their designated actions, and the display screen shines brightly when the unit is on and running. Unit unfortunately does not include any remote control, but will be shipped with a set of stereo L/R RCAs as shown in the listing images.
