For sale from Metz Music is this very early Blackface Princeton Reverb from 1965. The tube chart is stamped OJ, dating the amp to October of 1965, and the chassis and transformer date codes are consistent with that production timeframe.

This is a great example of Fender's "Holy Grail" amplifier and retains a substantial amount of its original circuitry and vintage components.

The chassis has the original-style black eyelet board, cloth-covered wiring, carbon-composition resistors, blue molded Mallory capacitors and other period-correct components. The amp has been serviced over its lifetime, as would be expected for a working 60+ year old amplifier.

Cosmetically, it shows the wear expected from a genuine 1965 amplifier. The cabinet, hardware and chassis have plenty of vintage patina.
