Harley Benton TE-62CC 2025 - Gloss Shell Pink

The build quality of my HB TE-62CC Tele is outstanding. Harley Benton has been renowned for years for the blue ribbon quality of the entire line of their guitar series. See the many glowing reviews on You Tube. The gloss shell pink finish came pristine from the factory. The protective plastic film is still on the 3-ply aged white pickguard. Mine remains in excellent, clean condition from minimal, careful play -- at home practice only. I no longer perform live, so no gigs or open mics to cause scuffs and dings.

The roasted maple neck has a slightly thick D shape -- not baseball bat fat; it fits comfortably in my medium-size hands -- and has 21 medium jumbo frets with well finished bevel tips plus a satin finish for smooth fret hand slides. Roasted maple 12 inch radius fretboard features some well detailed grain figuring. Kluson style closed gear tuners rotate smoothly and hold tune extremely well - I test played the 62CC before setting up this listing and it was still in tune after hanging on the wall unplayed for a month! Dark skunk stripe on back indicates a dual action truss rod in the neck. Bone nut for improved tone.

Roswell vintage style Tele single coil pickups with AlNiCo 5 magnets sound equally as good as those in my 2016 Fender Standard Ash Telecaster. They produce that bright, authentic Tele twang. The tone of these Roswells is amazing. No small feat for a budget import Tele. Yet another measure of the high quality one can expect from HB.

Vintage Tele control set up: master volume, master tone, 3-way blade pickup switch on an elongated chrome plate.

Traditional ashtray bridge houses three barrel saddles with a strings-through-body tail for enhanced resonance. Factory strings are D'Addario EXL110 .010 to .046 light gauge.

The HB warehouse in Connecticut and USA sales website came to an end last year, so now HB guitars are only available new from Thomman sales in Germany. It will be tough to get a bargain discount when overseas shipping and USA tariffs take their toll on price. USA used Harley Benton prices reflect substantial increases now that HBs are less available in the United States.

Why am I selling this? I own over two dozen T-style guitars, more than any one player needs. I figure Harley Benton has excellent brand recognition, so will likely sell more readily than my other lesser known Chinese import Teles. I recently got a Chinese custom relic Tele with a hot coral pink finish and a humbucker at the neck which gives more tonal variety to my collection. That one I'll keep. So I'm seeking a new home for this low priced, easy to play Tele tribute with outstanding tone. It would be a fine choice for a mid-level guitar student or a gigging musician who needs a less expensive but professional sounding axe to play live. And its shell pink finish is truly a classic color!
